We have heard rumblings of a Motorola putting out some Android handsets by the end of the year. We were also told that T-Mobile will be releasing Android handsets from three carriers in 2009, HTC, Samsung, and now we have confirmed the 3rd manufacturer: Motorola. (Can't see the picture? As we can see in the screenshot, there is a good looking Motorola Android handset heading our way in the final months of 2009. While we cannot reveal the pricing of this year's Android handsets quite yet, we will be revealing more details as the devices get closer to hitting T-Mobile's shelves. Right now, we have T-Mobile's confirmed upcoming Android devices tallied at 5:
- Samsung Houdini
- Motorola Morrison
- HTC Magic (G2)
- Bigfoot G1 v2
- Huawei Touchscreen device
While we have tips coming in showing that there may be another device that has been added to this lineup, we cannot confirm this at the time. Look at T-Mobile's lineup, we can say with confidence that T-Mobile is looking to dominate the Android market in the United States. We'll see how the rest of the year develops, as more and more carriers and manufacturers get involved in the open-source storm that we like to call Android.

Can't see it either...
clear your cache guys, i have just tried it from 3 different machines and have no trouble seeing it.
Juuuuuuuuust in case it was still on our end, I setup the photo to come from TinyPic instead of our servers...Should be working!

The pic I see is the leaked Wal-mart roadmap. The Morrison is cut off on the right! Somebody needs to fix that! lol

I am sort of resentful that the Huawei is not the covered up December offering :'(
It is cool that Motorola is offering us another product, but where oh where is my Huawei?
This is good stuff! I know there is more coming over the next few weeks too, so I hope that some of that will fill in the details on the upcoming devices - we know the pre's launch date, the next iPhone launch date is rumored for July, and without some real information about upcoming android handsets, people won't wait around to see what TMO brings out. I think TMO really needs to get a Sapphire launch date out there before the pre comes out on June 6.

Hey wait a minute...I just realized something...the G1v2/Bigfoot is only slated from 9/9 to 11/3, and then replaced by the Motorola Morrison on 11/4?
That doesn't seem right. But what it DOES instill hope for, is a second qwerty Android phone to coexist with the G1v2.
One would assume the G1v2 would receive at least some mild hardware upgrades under the hood. Doesn't the Magic have a little higher specs on the RAM and camera than the G1? Bumping up to that level seems completely reasonable.
Looking back to all the rumors of Motorola betting the farm on Android, this makes me hopeful that the Morrison will FINALLY be a high-end qwerty!
Dare I dream? I'm marking 11/4/09 on my calendar now...this could be the biggest hardware geek release since the Playstation 2! lol
